Anya Taylor-Joy

Anya Taylor Joy was born in Miami Florida on 16 April 1996. A half English and half Spanish she is the daughter of Dennis Alan Taylor a former banker as well as Jennifer Marina Joy a psychologist. Her father, an native of Argentina with Scottish and English descent is her mother. Her mother is Spanish-English. The Taylor-Joy family was a clan with six kids. Four of her siblings are from the previous marriage to Taylor's father. The family was at Buenos Aires until she was six, after which they moved to the Victoria area in London. Taylor Joy claims that her move to England was very traumatic. She refused to learn English and was hoping to relocate back to Argentina. Hill House became her school that she chose after being required to switch schools. Then she went to Queen's Gate School and studied ballet. She dropped out of high school when she was 16 in order to focus on her acting career. Taylor-Joy's dream to become an acting star began when she was just a child. Sarah Doukas of Storm Management was the first one who hired her to be a professional model.
